There is a scientific saying that the most revolutionary ideas are often the simplest. The development of Pi-ball required an insight of some genius. For in retrospect the idea is so simple, so revolutionary, that we wonder why it has taken more than three centuries of human participation in ball sports before anyone designed this game. The concept is revolutionary because the activities require a minimum of space, little equipment and relatively little cost. So it can provide the opportunity for joyful recreation even to those with access to the fewest resources. I heartily endorse this remarkable South African invention. I hope that it will bring great joy first to many South Africans and then to the rest of the world.
